Adorable dresses

So,  I'm trying this new thing where I actually DO something creative each weekend. Last weekend I finished my most recent painting, this weekend I'm making my GORGEOUS cousin a pretty little dress for her to flounce around in over summer.
Although, there wont be much flouncing, since she's only just recently turned 1 year old. She'll probably wreck the dress learning to walk, or crawling through some mud, or vomiting on it, or peeing in it, or one of the many other clothes-ruining baby traits.

Either way, I'm expecting a photo of her wearing it BEFORE it's destroyed - I will inform the mummy that this will be the payment. A pretty photo of my master piece dress. Considering the fact that I only started on it about half an hour ago, its not really a dress yet. I'll load a pic when its done!
It's going to be so cute. Like, adorable to the point of spontaneous combustion. The photo is of the fabric, and its cute. My cats on my bed cheering me on, admiring my work (in his sleep. Hes very affectionate in his sleep). His names Munta.

Also, my painting from last weekend. If you wanna see more of my paintings, then HERE

painting

I haven't decided if I will keep these up... They're.. A bit weird. But hey. I guess I'll make up my mind, if I like 'em they'll be here in an hour, if I don't, they wont.

Theres a lot wrong with them - the legs are too long (by like ten miles) and they're wonky too. Plus, she's on a strange angle. Also, with the face, I did finish it, but .. I like the half finished version better.

painting for muffin

Happy flat warming present muffin! It took friggen ages, but looked alright in the end. I was eating chocolates during the painting - dropped one. It still tasted fine, it was wrapped so it was fine!

I have been sick these last few days - pretty horrible cold of some description. Couldn't really get off the couch much, just sat around. My Ta said to me just now "atleast you didn't get a fever... except maybe, Boogie fever". So lame.

Mural

Here I am, for the 3rd time this week, sitting in carpet court. I get here at approximately 8am, and stay here until 9:15, which is when I scurry off to the beach - wearing my paint splattered Resene t-shirt and my old and misshapen shorts. There is two mismatching socks, and a pair of painted shoes that accompany me.

You see, I am painting a mural with several friends of mine. Its council organised and will be plastered up on a wall (under a bridge (over the other side of a river (where people will hardly see it))). But, never the less, its a mural and it is a good way to spend my entire week, from 9.30am to 4ish pm.

The friends accompanying me are Abi, Jo, Rachel, Amy, Imche and seral other who are more aquaintances than friends.

But the reason I'm stuck in carpet court is because this is the only way that I can get to the beach by 9.30 in the mornings. Living in the middle of nowhere has its downfalls when it comes to arriving in far away places ontime.
My mummy dearest is the branch manager here at carpet court, and because of that I get to spend my early mornings waiting out the time that Im stuck here...

Oh well. Its 9.13 now, about time that I must be on my jolly way to painting world.

Goodbye my fellow people!

My sickness is cooling down, but so what?

Alright, so now I'm basically a runny nose and a few good coughing fits a day. This cold may have wrapped up quick, but apparently all problems don't wrap themselves up like Mc'D's burgers.

Still haven't found my solution to "what will you be when you leave school" ... I thought I had a good one, I thought 'hey I can just take a photoshop or indesign course until I officially decide what to do', I mean, thats both interesting to me and helpful to most future jobs that I would find interesting. Win win, right?
Wrong. Apparently those courses are uber-doober expensive and can take friggen ages. Dad was telling me about how a course for indesign can take up t 4 years to get a degree.. could cost up to a good 20K.
F. M. L. Back to square ONE! Or square negative one. Or maybe, I'm just up to 'circle', so I'm running round and round being all like "I'm sure I saw a door around here somewhere!"

I'll have a quick pointless chat to the careers lady about those courses anyway, to see if theres anything worth it in there. Cause lets face it, no matter how useful the information is that she tells me, Im not going to be able to choose till I decide what I Iike doing.

OH! AND MORE GREAT NEWS GUYS!!!!!! Dad and mum are both moving house (A-friggin-GAIN) next yearish, right? Well both are planning to at the beginning of next year. So whats that make it? 8 times in 5 years?
WhhooooooooooooooHHOOOOOOO! THEY'RE GOING FOR THE GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS! DON'T STOP NOW GUYS! ALMOST THERE!!!
Yeah. Right.

Im super behind in painting too, by like, a whole board - I thought I was up to date in photography but yeah, Im not really, Im too slack at actually TAKING the pictures. Geo.. yeah sure, up to date there, thats okay :)
English... Othello essays? no.

Lifes not really THAT bad. Im just in a really exaggerated mood.

If I were to suggest running away to a secret world and staying there forever and ever eating lollies and drinking tea in our own marshmallow houses... Who would be with me?

PAINTING

OKAY. SO here comes some well in needed of venting.
I have almost - ALMOST - finished my painting homework. That is hours and hours and HOURS and HOURS AND HOURS of friggen work that I have ALMOST finished. I spent so long on this one painting, like all this time in school too. Then last night I decided I hate it and I painted over it. I quite like the new one, its this reflectiony bottle thingy-ma-bobble.
But omfg, I hated the idea of painting over my old one just as much as i hated the actual painting itself. I like, imploded. Just looking at that stupid painting.
After seeking advice form an elder, I decided to just ditch the idea and start anew. And DONE!
AHAHAHAHAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA... Its like maniacal laughing. I like the painting now.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Well. Im sick, which is whats made this painting nightmare even worse. Like, for my standards I'm pretty sick. Usually I get over my colds in a day or two, but I got sick on Thursday, and its not Monday night and my sickness is still going strong.
I dont think the carebears could even fight off this beast of a cold. Its doing my head in - literally. And its like, OH LETS CONCENTRATE ON TINY PAINTED DETAILS!!! My headaches like DIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIDIIEEEEEE.
For hours on end.

Anyway. Yeah. My headache has recently returned- probably due to my procrastination of homework by writing this very post. Its sad, isnt it? I was just rid of this headache and it returns. Its like "I'm going to the store for milk",
YUSSSS ITS GONE
"No, really. Im back. I actually just went and got milk"
Dam its not gone. Got my hopes up for nothing.

Anyway, sick or not, Ive got to burden myself with school tomorrow, because my art assignment is DUUEEE!!!!! SO really I should get off my ass and finish it aye.. Hmm..... It will only take like, 10 minutes tops.....
But oh how horrid those 10 minutes will be....

Lets hope I survive...
Wish me luck...

*gulps*

Merry FCKING christmas - 2 December 09

Well. I have discovered that its even HARDER to keep up with my blog when its the holidays, I spend so much time doing nothing that it feels like I'm busy doing everything! So naturally, I just don't find the time to update while Im busy thinking Im doing everything while I'm actually not busy doing nothing.

Alright, Its been really good and really bad being off school on holidays,
I find that if I don't have some kind of project to do then I just end up doing nothing and thinking about the tub of ice cream thats in the freezer... raspberry ripple.... mmmm... I could do with some of that now. . .
BUT I wont go get any because I know that once its gone its gone! ITS GONE!!!! IITTTSSS GGOONNEEE!!!!!!!!!!

Uuhh.. Right, So, Im starting this painting to try and keep myself occupied. Its going to be of an ice cream cone, thats upside down - squished onto the ground. But the ice cream which is inside the cone isn't going to actually be ice cream! Its going to be the Earth, and its going to be melting onto the ground. You know, its representing how when people make little mistakes - Like, dropping an ice cream - It feels like the end of the world. The whole "don't cry over spilt milk" thing.
But at the moment, Im just waiting for the white background to dry because this is ACTUALLY proving really difficult to get a white background ... weird I know, you'd think it would be the easiest part.

ANYWAY. So, I've been spending most of my time with friends or on facebook. I swear facebook is ruining my life. Its taking overrrrrrrrrr...
And its actually not even that interesting to be totally honest.

This is weird, I had so much to write about on here but now that I'm trying to write it all down my minds just like blank. Its very frustrating, OH YEAH! thats another thing! Frustration! Now that its the holidays there's a heap more time to sit and think about everything and anything. This is, admittedly a good thing in some aspects. I mean, I reckon Im a thought process and a half away from figuring out the Bermuda Triangle.
But the extra thinking time also comes with the things that you don't really want to think about.
All the stupid stuff .. not stupid as in, the way I talk about nonsense, its stupid as in "Why do things like this even exist?"

One of the things I don't particularly want to think about, or plan for, or ANYTHING, is that CHRISTMAS!!!!!! is coming up! Yay! Reindeer! Snow flakes! Santa! Presents! Candy canes! Mistletoe! Yeah, all that jazz. When I was younger I would have pretty much be bouncing off the walls since June for this. Now I wouldn't mind it it just fcked off for another few months. Cause you know, although it TIS THE SEASON TO BE JOLLY! Im not feeling very jolly towards it this year!
If anyone read my post I wrote friggen ages ago, about divorce, then this wonderful celebration also applies to that suckyness.

This year we're having trouble figuring out who were going to celebrate it with.. I think the 'rents have officially figured it out. In the morning until about midday my sister and I will be spending the time with mummy dearest and her side of the family (which, not incl my immediate family, is: Six cousins, two uncles, two aunties and a nana and grandad). Then, from 12 onwards we ship off to daddy darlings house and grace the other half of the family with our presence (thats three cousins, one aunty, one soon to be step mother, three soon to be step kids, one poppy and one poppa - once again not incl my immediate family).
Two christmas lunches.. I have a small but powerful feeling that I might explode by the end of it. Maybe I can develop a technique like the cows have. I could have "cud" in my mouth thats made of various hams, pavlovas and potatoes.
I'd better get practicing if Im going to have a high level of cud processing by christmas time.

Oh btw, I've been face painting recently. Wanna see?
Kcool.
