demolition and reconstruction

My bedroom is getting re-shaped.
I'd say its got a personal trainer at some jazzy gym, and its gonna be on an intense diet - like, NO CARBS, NO SUGARS, NO FUN.
But when the renovations are over, it will actually be shorter and wider. So its going on the standard See-Food diet. Its going to be like, twice the length - which is great, you know, but I did just try take furniture OUT of my room. I was trying to cut out all the unnecessary things I collect...
Guess I've got an excuse to go shopping.

I could get a TV for my room? I never saw the point in it because I don't actually watch TV much, and any movies I watch I can do so from the computer...
I could get a couch? But then, I have a bed. Whats the point in a couch? I can just sit on my bed.
I could get a mini fridge? I think that just means I'm lazy - can't even make it to the kitchen for milk.

Oooh I could get a BIGGER desk. I did only just get this one I'm using now (like, I got it a month ago), but it is very small... If I had a bigger desk, then I wouldn't use my bed for painting (in theory. I am used to painting on that angle).

I could get a large ornamental object. Its sole purpose would be to collect dust. Like, a wooden sculpture of a sea horse thats 2m high by 1m wide and deep. Stick it right in the middle, and paint it ROYGBIV.

Maybe I could just... fill the extra space with a patterned rug.

I drew a map out of it. Its actually pretty accurate - thats what my bed looks like (or will look like when I put my new WINTER duvet cover on it, one that has NO paint on it so far). Thats the patterned rug. And the beige in the corner will be my new BIG corner desk. The rainbow squiggle is my seahorse sculpture. The blue green line at the top will be my feature wall - Im still deciding on the colour. I've had teal as a FW before, and loved it, but shouldn't I try something different? I've had red too (not my choice, the room was already painted when we moved in.. I'd NEVER choose red.

Uuum the wardrobe covers a whole wall cause Im not sure exactly where its going to be... The various line on the walls are either painting or windows.

OH CRAP. I didn't put my book case in it! Um. It can go where-ever my wardrobe isn't on that right hand wall. Maybe I should get a new book case - I have a few books that are getting a little crammed...

Bedroom impressions

I've always tried to present myself through my bedroom. I mean, its the only place I can safely say "thats my room!", as in, it's MINE. Even your parents say "go to 'your' room!", but they don't often say "this is your house", "Can you do your dishes.... in your sink".
You know?

I've always wanted my room to be colour colour colour! Flowers and photos, paintings covering the walls, pillows all over my bed, vics pots all over the shelves with the Goku figurine and the car headlight called Buddy.
I take pride in my bedroom(s) knowing that when someone walks inside, they can look around and be like "Yup. This ones definitely hers" or "Yup... This girls definitely... Well. Different".

I typed out a whole bunch of things on here and then deleted it. It would be nice to think that I can just ramble away anything that pops into my head in this wonderland of nonsense that is my blog... But unfortunately, even heavens like this have their limits. However, I do type out practically every thought that deserves mentioning.. I mean, come on. Seriously, with some of the things I write about its impressive I can manage a paragraph about it, let alone a whole post.
But I have to consider some of my readers feelings when I'm typity typing out my train... It tends to be the more indepth tracks like divorce and things that I try to avoid. That and bitching about parental arguments lol, I know theres several family members who've gained a bone or two to pick from reading my blog posts.

My cold has left me to sit and 'recover'. You know, all that lying in bed drinking tea and relaxing crap that doctors and mothers feed you to cure colds, its not that great. You sit there, and all there is to do is think and sleep...
And theres only so much sleep you can do in a day!
Im sick of being sick, and its doing my head in - not only because of this STUPID wanker of a headache.
I was trying to alleviate some of those thoughts in my blog... But for once, it doesn't seems to have helped me that much.
Much to my disappointment.

So I will sit here and wipe my nose every 5 minutes, stewing over my thoughts... Unless! I could read a book!
It has a large chance of worsening my already irrationally furious headache but WHO CARES!
Thoughts? or thoughtless with a throbbing teeth grindingly verging-on-a-migraine headache?

Obvious choice, I think so!
Here I come Harry Potter!!!

Bike bits - 4rth January 2010

Today I got to my mums house, and I was worried. Because she had told me that she'd painted my bedroom white - even though she knew I was incredibly disgusted that she would make my room such a boring colour. Seeing as it basically was orange before, from the colour of the wood, having white walls is a MASSIVE down grade from brightville. I mean, white, like, isnt even a colour. Its a TONE for fricks sake.
Anyway, so, I step into my room. And not ONLY are the walls all white, but all my furniture is painted white! My lime green duvet cover was replaced with a red black and white one, all my mental paintings of; sea monsters, rubix cubes, buckets, fairies, scribbles and fire.... all had been stripped from the walls. My steering wheel cover, police badges, sequins, glow in the dark stars... ALL GONE! It was so.... Soo.... SO PLAIN. Well. It was plain for me anyway.

After I threw a miniature mock tantrum, I put up some of my paintings and got my green duvet cover back. Mum thought it was funny, my reaction. But we agreed that I just have to get over it when her wedding comes around, because my room is far too mental. It would scare away the guests.

Also, on lighter news. My Dahlia (I've mentioned him earlier) has two brilliant yellow flowers on him! Oh he's so adorable, I'm so incredibly proud of him. Always looking amazing, every time I see him!!

Then.. on the dark side of news... and I mean like, the darkest and most painful corner of hell side of news.... Like, there is fire everywhere around you and spikes sticking up through your feet, while hot acid is being poured on your skin in the most dark and painful corner of hell side of news...... My fish, Bike bits, has died today. Mum told me this evening. Its terrible, because he is the third out of the original five to die... Only Allspark and Rectum are left. My Bike Bits was a zebra danio.. I miss him terribly...
But. I suppose these things happen sometimes.. I went and buried him in the back of the section next to Feta and Carrot (my old cats). When I was digging his grave, the spade broke. We REALLY have to fix this how dry the ground is out here. But, the spade head work really well as a grave stone, so I suppose its a win loose situation.

OH YEAH. And my bf, he's pretty brilliant also, just like my Dahlia - minus the flowers. He's just as silly as I am about everything! And and and .. He's just.. He makes me happy.

Raincoat violence - 19th December 09

There are various topics in need of discussion. These have arisen in the past 2 -3 days and are (apparently) incredibly important.

We will start with the most important!
About 5 minutes ago I was hanging the washing out, which doesn't seem too important right? Nothing thats in need of top priority blog mentioning. But you see, I was astonished to find that there was this yellow raincoat in the washing machine. It had never occurred to me that raincoats needed washing. Because they tend to only ever be used with water! I just presumed they cleaned themselves... and as I have recently discovered... they don't.
So, there I am, trying to peg this raincoat to the line, and it just wasn't working out. It wasn't sitting the same way as a top would. And so I noticed that the hood was on the wrong side and it was throwing the entire coat out of balance... So I flicked the hood up and over onto the other side. But, being myself, I managed to flick it into my face. I NEVER thought a raincoat could be so painful! It like, aimed for my eye! And believe me, raincoats have got fcking accurate aim!
But, I still knew that resorting to violence against the raincoat would only be sinking to its level, so I was the better man and let that little... little incident.... slide.

Another note thats definitely worth mentioning is that I have been tidying my bedroom for the past hour or so (besides the 10 minutes I had to spare for the abuse I explained above). I never realised how much CRAP I had in my room! And geeeeezz, when you've moved house as many times as I have in a short amount of time you come to think that you've gotten rid of all your rubbish! Apparently I thought wrong. So, I never actually finished tidying my bedroom. I thought the raincoat problem NEEDED to be talked about asap and I would just have to put my room tidying on hold until I'd done that.

Also, I've become attached to the name "Autumn". Because of various conversations I've had with various people about various things... But I have decided to only reward very special things the name of Autumn.

Oh yeah. And I have a boy friend.
Yeah, I have a 'bif' now, which is epic weird. I honestly don't know what to say about it.
