Glorious Sunshine....

It seems that no matter what bribe is offered, or how many compliments it receives, the sun is bent on burning me. I put on sunblock whenever I think theres the chance of me being in the sun, I wear hats, I have sleeves, I stay in the shade.
It's like the sun is sitting up there, just waiting for me to step outside so it was muster all its burning potential and throw it at me. While Im inside, it daydreams about how much fun it will have watching me change colour, and peel. For all I know, the sun gets off on burning me.

I wouldn't be surprised it the sun was a sadist, I mean, think about it.
It melts peoples ice creams, chocolate and melts tar - for people to step in. It causes sub burn, heat stroke, sun stroke and skin cancer. It influences prickles to grow in the grass, it heats sand so we burn our feet on the beach, it causes car crashes (when you suddenly get a full face of sun when you turn a corner - your momentarily blind, everything around you becomes a hazzard! BAM you hit 5 trees and roll the car all the way down a hill and into a river thats infested with piranhas, as you blindly swim to safety - even though both your arms are broken from the tree impact - they eat your skin off and pull your hair out. When your finally on shore, another driver who had the same issue runs you over).

So essentially, the sun is a murderer.
But we can't live without it... so I guess I should just get over it and buy sunblock with SPF 1000 or something.

The sun is back - so is the sun burn!

My WONDEROUS first beach experience of 2010 ends in a loverly round patch of pink.
I was determined to get every patch of me covered in sun block, and I really did try. I put two layers on my face. And I thought I was successful, there wasn't any signs of damage. I was impressed. I then got home, and mum pointed out that I had infact missed a patch.
It's weird, because no matter which top I am wearing, the first sun burn I get each year seems to be where my neck line is on the top. Admittedly, this years first burn wasn't too bad, it was only a slight shade of pink. It was like.. marshmellow pink.
Not too bad.

Anyway, more important news is that at the beach, my friends and I discovered a jellyfish! the MOST ADORABLE jellyfish ever known to man kind. He was about 1cm square, and he had a bright red dot in him (like, his blood and guts and things).
Totally adorable. It looked like he had lace around the bottom, and every time he swam? upwards, he had a tiny cluster of tentacles that popped out from no where.

We called him Barry. (Barrel Bourbon No51). But his christian name was Squishy.
The reason he was awarded this name is cause thats the only bottle we could find to catch him in (it's okay, don't panic, we released him! It was just for closer inspection). We walked him all around the beach and showed him the human world - presuming jellyfish can see?
Actually thinking about it now, it didn't even occur to me that jellyfish don't have eyes. Damn..

Sunburn. AGAIN. For christ sake!

Alright, so I went on a relatively boring geography trip today - yay!
I collected information on three different sections of Omaha beach and recorded what the sand grains looked like, how many waves went past in a minute, what plants grew on sand dunes and many other things which will be incredibly useful in my later life with bringing up a family and getting married.

During this wondrous and adventure filled trip I managed to get my chest and nose rather painfully sunburnt - much to my delight!
I'm what a chef would call "well done". Even on my standards of sunburn.
I myself am usually rare, whereas I would say my mother and sister are medium and my dad is medium rare.

Either way, Geo trip was boring and I'm burnt.
I got back to school at approximately 2:45pm and went from there to Browns bay with my business studies group. That was amusing.... I think.
I then went from Browns Bay to CARPET COURT! YEAH! and waited around with my mother dearest until we went and bought two more sucky fish (to represent Petal and Cherub. Carrot and Feta sucky fish are already living in out tank).
I then went home and did MORE business homework!
HORRAY!

Now I'm sitting here wondering how many days (or weeks) it will take my sunburn to peel itself off me and leave me just as white as I was originally (but with a bit more skin damage than before, as per usual).

Tobit and I have got quite a weekend ahead of us; I want to get out a bunch of dvds because he hasn't seen ANY of the terminator movies, or even seen ET.. But most astonishingly of all, he hasn't seen Footrot flats!
This is a need for some serious movie watching.

Next weekend however, Im going to offer a day of mine to MUFFIN! If she should choose to accept we will do mental and spaz things as we usually so and these things may even we the cause of another blog post in the near distant future.

Ginger kids - 25th january 10

Alright. I understand that everyone should be different. And I understand that because of genetics, people ARE different. I understand that because of whatever gene pool your shoved into you get different skin colour, eye colour and hair colour. I understand that because of dominant and recessive genes, some people are brunette; whilst other are blonde.
What I DONT fucking understand, is why gingas have such fucking sensitive and pale skin. For fucks sake.
It's like, OH HAHA THIS GINGER KIDS GONNA BUUURRRRNNNNN.
Yeah, well, it SUCKS being orange sometimes. And yeah. Its funny, we get burnt cause we have orange hair and fires orange too. Fucking hilarious. Ooooh Im just warming my hands over your hair, yeah, cause its like fire. HAHA. Im crying tears of laughter on the inside. MAN, if you were any funnier I'd DIE laughing.

What about when we all get skin cancer, is that funny? Yeah? Well its not for us! Im sitting here, after being in the sun today - not even for that fucking long! And Im burnt. FML.
And to top it off, my darling sister, has almost used ALL my moisturizer that I got for christmas - WHO NEEDS IT MORE?! Her, or the burnt kid?!
THE BURNT KID FOR CHRIST SAKE.

You know what? If the sun had a personality, he'd be a total wanker. I would not wanna be friends with someone... someone as sadistic as that. I wouldn't even wanna be NEAR someone so fucking nasty.
Burning people for fun... for fucks sake....
Fucking ridiculous...

SUNBURN! - 08 december 09

SSHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEZ. My legs, right at this moment. OUCH.
Like, I was lying on my stomach in the sun for the whole day... and conveniently for the suns rays, the only places I forgot to put sunblock on is the backs of my legs and the little gap between my skirt and my top. OUCH MAN. OUCH.
"Im fcking pink!" is a fcking understatement! Sitting here, with my legs folded up, HURTS. So much! ah!
Uhhh but even so, it was kinda worth it, I spent the day at the beach with majority of my friendies - excluding muffin (http://www.muffin-talk.blogspot.com/) who is currently in Australia with her bf. And my other bestbud who was too tired to grace us with her presence today.
Anyway, wowwwwwwzers it was fun :) As I have said. We didn't even do much! and oh wow Im hungry! We didn't even eat much.

Uuhhh I actually came on here to talk about my hair... I finally decided what to do with it, and I did it last night. Its pink and blue (there's a small section of purple also, which doesn't show up - much to my disappointment). Here, look, I'll show you.
See? I think I quite like it :) I mean YES, it is incredibly bright! even brighter than I expected to be completely honest. Lol, I hope it comes out by the time school starts.. but oh well if it doesn't! My teachers will just have to get over it :) Or... Or get me in trouble...

OH yeah, I met a new person today. My friends boy friend. I've gotta say that I approve. They're adorable together, I think that there should be more people like them out there in the world.
