ALRIGHT. Since I'm on the metaphorical roll, I might as well continue descriptions of another aspect of my highly fascinating life.
Work.
My 'new' job (that I have now been in for over 3 months).
I realize that my last last post was written the day before I started this job, and everything I wrote in said post was actually pretty close to the truth.
I arrived at the office (I work in an office now. I never thought I'd work in an office), which is in Ellerslie, which means I've gotta leave home at approx 6:30am to drive, catch a bus and a train.
Anyway, I arrive at the office. I wasn't the only person starting that day - far from it.
Pretty much my whole department started the same day as I did.
Now, I arrive, and discover that there is no senior photographer. After discovering all my worst fears were true, I melted a little on the inside, and made many a frantic phone call to my dad to help me set up the photography studio and what not.
But now, three months on, it's not so bad. Pretty stressful, and different, and even though getting up at 6:30am and arriving home at 6:30pm is both mentally and physically draining - its not so bad.
I like what I DO there.
If you want to see/pick holes in my photography work, you can check out posties web page and look though the products. I can't say all the work is mine - because a lot of the previous photographers work is still up - but lets just presume all the best work is mine :p
The page that I linked to 'posties' is one of my favourites that I did.

Reflections
As much as I should really be taking time to reflect on my life, I'd rather take time to admire the reflections of the brilliant view this morning.

I do miss photography...
In saying that I miss photography, it doesn't mean I've stopped taking photos - goodness no! I mean that I miss photography class from school. If I take a photo now, and show somebody, its kind of like "cool" or "whyyy would you take a picture of a rock?" or something TOTALLY IGNORANT like that!
And I'd be like, what do you mean WHY take a picture of a ROCK?
That rock has amazing detail in the cracks! And can you see how I caputred that mould right there? Doesn't it look like you could reach out and stroke its wet fuzziness??
No, it doesn't, what the hell you weirdo. Go take pictures of normal things like girls making kissy faces (also known as 'duck face ' to those who are internet savvy).
So heres a few of the ones I've taken recently, just so that somebody who appreciates how much I love micro and supermicro. They're relatively normal pictures anyway... well. Except for the last one...
But who cares? That last ones nothing compared to my year 12 photography work! NOTHING I TELL YOU. And also, you should just be happy I didn't photograph the rest of the chicken. That was worse.

My sickness is cooling down, but so what?
Alright, so now I'm basically a runny nose and a few good coughing fits a day. This cold may have wrapped up quick, but apparently all problems don't wrap themselves up like Mc'D's burgers.
Still haven't found my solution to "what will you be when you leave school" ... I thought I had a good one, I thought 'hey I can just take a photoshop or indesign course until I officially decide what to do', I mean, thats both interesting to me and helpful to most future jobs that I would find interesting. Win win, right?
Wrong. Apparently those courses are uber-doober expensive and can take friggen ages. Dad was telling me about how a course for indesign can take up t 4 years to get a degree.. could cost up to a good 20K.
F. M. L. Back to square ONE! Or square negative one. Or maybe, I'm just up to 'circle', so I'm running round and round being all like "I'm sure I saw a door around here somewhere!"
I'll have a quick pointless chat to the careers lady about those courses anyway, to see if theres anything worth it in there. Cause lets face it, no matter how useful the information is that she tells me, Im not going to be able to choose till I decide what I Iike doing.
OH! AND MORE GREAT NEWS GUYS!!!!!! Dad and mum are both moving house (A-friggin-GAIN) next yearish, right? Well both are planning to at the beginning of next year. So whats that make it? 8 times in 5 years?
WhhooooooooooooooHHOOOOOOO! THEY'RE GOING FOR THE GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS! DON'T STOP NOW GUYS! ALMOST THERE!!!
Yeah. Right.
Im super behind in painting too, by like, a whole board - I thought I was up to date in photography but yeah, Im not really, Im too slack at actually TAKING the pictures. Geo.. yeah sure, up to date there, thats okay :)
English... Othello essays? no.
Lifes not really THAT bad. Im just in a really exaggerated mood.
If I were to suggest running away to a secret world and staying there forever and ever eating lollies and drinking tea in our own marshmallow houses... Who would be with me?

Photography homework and excitement!
So.. My spare time after school this week has been spent doing photography homework.
Yes.. Taking photos, but also carving faces into vegetables. To take photos of them.
Yeah, I carved a lemon, a lime, an orange, a pumpkin and two apples - one red, one green. Its very time consuming and it toys with your conscience because you feel bad...
The lemon and limes were the worst. You carve their eyes, and then when your starting on their mouths all this juice comes out of their poor little eyes and it looks like they're crying!
But in the end I hacked them all up and chucked them in a fry pan. Mmm... The pumpkin was going mouldy too... extra flavour..
Nah, I didn't eat them. But it was tempting.
Oh yeah! I was tidying my room on Monday right, and I looked under my bed and there was this little metal lunch box that my friend gave me for my birthday.
I checked inside, and there was all the 'need to have' things. Like; plasters, panadol, day&night tablets, lemsip, safety pins, rubber bands, tuna, a spoon, an empty m&m's container.... And two lines from a King size block of chocolate.
Now don't get me wrong, I was pleasantly surprised to discover secret stashes of chocolate.
I put a piece in my mouth and was chewing on it when I started wondering when I put it there...
I then realised that it's been there since christmas day - and it is now 6 months and 6 days later. I would have felt sick if I didn't find it so funny!
But yeah, I didn't eat anymore. I put it back lol. So it's sitting in there for another six months and 6 days, when I will probably be putting MORE christmas chocolate in there to join it. I should leave it 30 years then sell it!
Probably wouldn't be worth anything. should keep it till I have children, then trick them into eating it.
Ha the ball is now in like.. 4 days. And Im still excited, we got our ball tickets today - It was kinda a let down. They look cool from a distance, but the picture they used it all pixelated because its such CRAP quality! But still, it was exciting.
Um, Ba (www.denisneedshair.blogspot.com) dyed her hair bright red today, Im so excited to see it, if I'm honest. I'm dying Tibs hair blue the day after the ball.... and mine too, of-course :P
G2g blogreaderillians, Im going to go watch gold member with my dad lol.
Goodnight!

Phooootttooogggrrraappphhyyyyy
I am still way ahead in my photography lol.
Business studies is DOING MY HEAD IN lol there is SO MUCH TO DO but I have recently been promoted to both being communications director and now co-managing director. Impressive huh.
:)
Tobit banned me from doing everyones homework though, because I've been doing like... alot... in business... and Im pretty stressed out anyway. Oh well. I have an essay in english and a research film/book/short story/poem to read and analyse, 4 paintings to complete and 2 exams to study for in the other departments of homework... which I've been putting off so that I can do my business homework. Even though I'm never planning to stem a career from the learnings I will gain in my business studies class.
Anyway. Whilst sitting here discussing mashed potato fights and evil/good clone-like twins with various wonderous indeviduals, I managed to take a brilliantific photograph of the magnificent beast who was in my fruit bowl, even though he is CLEARLY a dignified and sophisticated vegetable.

Phabulous photography!
I am PLEASED BEYOND MEASURE to announce that I have FINISHED my entire weeks worth of photography... This includes both the in class time and the homework time. Thats like, like... ALOT of hours of photography which I have now done!
And the wonderful amazing fantastic thing about it is that its only MMMMMMMMMONDAY!!!!!!!!!!!
AAAAAHAHAHAHAHHAhdjksglhdwt'etyri[5eqcrw[xfn
Im very excited. That gives me another FREE CLASS!! inwhich I can depress myself about my lack of painting ideas. Hmm. Thats kind of putting a damper on my mood, but WHO CARES! I FINISHED THE WEEKS WORK!
Im pretty exhausted, like, I kinda don't have any brain cells left. And my face has been blank for hours, staring at a screen (this screen, infact) which has probably given me serious life threatening eye disease or something, which will like, spread all around the world mutilating eyes left right and centre... but you know what?
you know WHAT?!
IT . IS . WORTH . IT !!
Ahahah. haha.. hah.... wwwooooow... Okay. I should probably like, go to bed.
You know, grow some new brain cells.
I should do this more often...
Heres some of those photos, btw;

Photography again - 2nd January 2010
I uploaded a picture I took a few posts back, and apparently a few of my people liked it.
So, as I have quite recently (like, half an hour ago, maybe less even) I have done some more photography I thought HEY WHY NOT and here i am, putting the pictures on my blog.
And uhhh well. Yeah, they're just as weird as the last one, but not as weird as my photography board.. I am am never going to upload any of those pictures because THEY are totally disgusting.
but yeah, take a look.

Photography - 15th December 09
Well. Dad gave me this job of sorting through all his little bits and bobs from the shed right.. Its all those nuts and bolts that nobody cares about because they're just lying in junk piles and you can never find them when you need them. So Uuuuhh he had a few ice cream containers filled with all that shizz, so I was elected to go through them and put all the screws in one pile, nails in another, circley things in another... But like, every so often there would be something that didn't really match the requirements of any of the piles.
They were like the rejects. So I adopted them into my loving arms.. fed them up.... made them feel at home..... gave them purpose in life..... You know, The usual.
And as I was sifting through my little group of rejects I realised they were pretty interesting. And I thought they'd be brilliant for photography practice! SO THATS WHAT I DID!
This was my favourite.

Wow the soap in dads bathroom smells wonderful! It reminds me of something... Im tempted to say coconuts but know thats not it.. I just went and checked. Its called "milk and shea butter". Apparently "shea" is a nut that grows on trees! I mean frick! If it smells THAT good, why on Earth haven't I heard of it before?! This is crazy. Im incredibly disappointed with the media for not telling me about this sooner. I had to wikipedia what shea butter was! OMG JUST REALISED! Shea isn't in the blog dictionary?!! WTF.
And now we come back to Georgia's world (sorry Suzy, I stole your program). Things are pretty okay! I mean, Id say they were good, but I'm still angry at life for not giving me shea butter before now. What a waste of 17 years.
Yeah, like friends are good :) Muffins home from Australia and I've previously mentioned. And its tuesday today ... WINK.
My family is all fine and dandy! Mums in the garden 99% of the time as per usual, and I persuaded her to buy me another plant to add to my collection... I think I quite like going to garden center's with her now. I mean, thats my fourth plant. It's a yellow dahlia! It's very happy looking, especially when its with my daisies *satisfied smile*
Dad watched TRANSFORMERS!!!! With me last night! Yuss. He went out in the weekend and bought the two movies in blue-ray as a christmas present.. then I txt him last night asking him if we could get it out on dvd and he was like got home saying it was an "early christmas present" lol yay.
Errrrrr... I still haven't completed my christmas shopping, but by the sounds of most people I know I'm waaay ahead of schedule anyway. I have like. Hardly any presents left to get. Just like.. like three. There was one, but I thought of two more people I wanna get presents for!
OMGSH. I just unpacked the groceries dad bought home right. I was putting all these apples in the fruit basket and I literally thought to myself "Oh good. I'll be able to shine these tomorrow"
Sad life or what?
I THINK thats most of what I should report on?
Oh, I just checked my computers dictionary, PHEW.
"shea | sh ē; sh ā| (also shea tree)
noun
a small tropical African tree that bears oily nuts from which shea butter is obtained. • Vitellaria paradoxa (or Butyrospermum parkii), family Sapotaceae.
ORIGIN late 18th cent.: from Mande sye."
